ABC picks up Chiklis’ new series

Andovers Michael Chiklis — former star of The Commish, The Shield and the Fantastic Four movies — has a new show on the fall schedule.
ABC announced yesterday that it would pick up his series, “No Ordinary Family,” co-staring Dexter’s Julie Benz. The show is about a family of superheroes.

Leno ratings!

Andover’s Jay Leno did pretty well last night.
His first episode of “The Jay Leno Show” attracted 17.7 million viewers overall.
By comparison — a successful show like a “CSI” usually averages about 15 million viewers.
NBC had this to say:
