The North Shore Health Project was founded in 1988 by a group of people, who were concerned about the lack of available services for people affected by HIV, AIDS and Hepatitis C. The North Shore Health Project provides a variety of holistic services, as an adjunct to primary care, in addition to an array of support services.

Although it has been providing free care for over 20 years, The Project has retained a grass-roots character. Volunteer health care practitioners provide all holistic services, joined by a small army of other volunteers who assist with the day-to-day operation of the agency.

The North Shore Health Project is participating in the 2010 Pepsi Refresh Challenge , an opportunity for our organization to refresh our services, and expand our reach into the community, with a $250,000 grant.

Please take a moment to vote at http://www.refresheverything.com/healthproject ! It's free, It's easy, and it can make a huge difference in our ability to promote wellness in people living with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C by providing free holistic health care and support services in a safe, caring and confidential environment!
