Cape Ann is filled with people whose interests, desires and passions are deeply rooted in the community, and those passions are illustrated through their blogs every day. As Cape Ann’s community newspaper, The Gloucester Daily Times and Gloucestertimes.com is dedicated to bringing the region its news day-in-and-day-out. But, more than that, The Times is dedicated to bringing the community together and providing a place for residents to share ideas and take part in discussions. The Gloucester Times Community Blog shines the spotlight on community members from Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester and Essex so that their work, and the work of those they write about, can be appreciated by everyone.

    Looking for an old Army Buddy.
    we served in Kitzingen, Germany from 1972 until 1975.
    His name is James ( Jimmy) Hearn. married to Janet. one daughter named Kim. one son named Matthew. the last time we had contact.

    The North Shore Health Project was founded in 1988 by a group of people, who were concerned about the lack of available services for people affected by HIV, AIDS and Hepatitis C. The North Shore Health Project provides a variety of holistic services, as an adjunct to primary care, in addition to an array of support services.

    Although it has been providing free care for over 20 years, The Project has retained a grass-roots character. Volunteer health care practitioners provide all holistic services, joined by a small army of other volunteers who assist with the day-to-day operation of the agency.

    The North Shore Health Project is participating in the 2010 Pepsi Refresh Challenge , an opportunity for our organization to refresh our services, and expand our reach into the community, with a $250,000 grant.
