So many people sent emails asking where I got those beads I posted Saturday that I was sort of surprised. I bought them from an eBay vendor called MyGann. I spent quite a bit of time with them over the weekend and they are not the easiest things to work with because the holes drilled through them are not all even. Some are but a few of them were so crooked I had to pry the end cap off and re-glue it so it would line up with the hole. But they are so pretty it was worth it.

I made the buttons I needed for my project and then no sooner finished them than I thought of a different way to use them that I think I would like better so back to the drawing board. But I had five of them leftover so I decided to make a necklace with them. They are really too big for earrings but I love this (click image to enlarge):

I had some mother-of-pearl beads in 2 different sizes as well as some silver crystals so I just combined them and — voila! I think it is really pretty and it will look great with the jacket whenever I get it finished.

Sometimes too much inspiration isn’t such a good thing. I’ll keep you posted.

Thanks for reading.
