After the last post with night time shots of the barquentine “Peacemaker” I figured a trip to the tall ship during daylight would bring out the elegant woodwork(brightwork)that I only got a glimpse of the night before. The annual Schooner Festival is this weekend and the artists of the North Shore Arts Association will be out painting them. Below are a selection of some of my favorite schooner paintings by area artists and the schedule for the NSAA Schooner Festival Wet Paint Event.

North Shore Art Association’s Schooner Festival Wet Paint Exhibition will be on display in the Gordon Grant Room September 8 – 12. NSAA artist members will be out painting throughout the entire Schooner Festival.
